Woke up today, about to install XeXLoader onto my box, but I decided to redo the JTAG wires so they looked better. So I pull out the DVD drive, go rework the wires, and when I go to plug the DVD back in I realized the sata port had snapped off in the connector. F**k.
I have a 360 HDD transfer kit, but it's 20 miles away at my friend's house and I really don't want to drive all the way out there just for that.
Is there something I could boot from a usb drive? I tried xMenu, but it wouldn't work (screen went crazy, might be because it's a jasper box). If I pulled the actual drive out of the HDD enclosure could I hook it up to the pc and copy over the files from Xplorer360?

Edit: Nevermind, thought of someting else. Lopped off the broken sata connector and soldered the wires directly to the dvd board. Good as new, minus the part where I can't remove the sata cable anymore.
