Bet you have never had this question before!

I need to be able to tell different version power supplies apart!

My psu died in my 1.1 and a fiend has given me 4 power supplies! 2 are definately different and I would like to know what versions they are.

I have got my 1.1 working again with one of them.

Anyone know of a code on the actual psu that will tell me what version it is for? Or a chart with pics?

Bit of a strange request I know, but a picuted chart would be ideal to put in the noob section.

For the 1.0 and 1.1 PSU, they have a different connector to the board as the 1.2 and up PSU. Then there is a wiring difference you will have to watch for.

Yes it seems the 1.0 & 1.1 have no clip on the motherboard connector.

I am pretty sure that 2 of them are 1.6 as they have a clip and there is a block of 4 ports together that dont have wires. All the other connectors on the plug have wires (hope this makes sense)

The other one has a clip, but the 4 ports that dont have wires are not in a block together. Maybe this could be a 1.4?
