Replaced Laser. Reading All But Two Games.

Since I had some extra time tonight with nothing to do, I decided to try a pot tweak on a BRAND NEW LASER...  It actually fixed the problem.  the inital Pot reading was 3.35, I tweaked it down to 3.04.  Put the disc in and wala I can now play the game.  

I'm really disappointed in the choice of quality of the optical drives from Microsoft.  This is about the 3rd time I'v had to do something to fix the xbox optical unit.

Good job in catching the fix for yourself.

Was the drive a BenQ ?
