I find it terribly sad that it takes as much as it does to mod up the 360s and that the Scene never really developed there.

I was always fairly certain the Windows Media Center components of the 360 were a direct result of XBMC too, and also being able to install the games to the HDD to improve load times. It was a good strategy by MS; Find the primary (legitimate) reasons people mod, and give it to them right out of the box so no one wants to mod (except pirates of course)

Yeah I saw the XB1 with 1ghz and the 1.4 ghz with a switch.  Both of which were rather ingenious. It's a shame that it wasn't simpler to do. If it could be easily done, along with a ram upgrade to 128 or 256/512 with compatible chips, the XB1 would have pretty much been the best emulator for everything..
