Metal Slug Progressive Scan
« on: May 25, 2004, 08:44:00 PM »

I would be grateful if someone could figure out how to get this game working in progressive scan.  Thank you ProgScan for previous help (Manhunt).

Why bother when the game looks good already? Bumping up the res would just pixelate the characters

My TV has separate inputs for Progressive / Interlaced formats.  so when a game doesn't support 480p, i have to physically switch the inputs to see the game.

For me it's a big bump since i can only use a composite cable connection for 480i, but for 480p and higher, i can use component inputs which give me a significantly better PQ.

And i use a VGA Box which means i literally can't see the game unless it is 480p  :(

BUMP

I guess just play the ROMs in FBA XXX or KAWA-X until the prog scan patch comes out (thank goodness all emulators support 480p)
