I'm a noob to this stuff, but not for long (hopefully)

I softmodded my Xbox last night without a problem.. Even did it without using action replay!
I"m hooked up to mIRC and I have networked my XBOX so I am able to transfer files.

I have 2 problems:
#1: I keep having to reconnect to the mIRC server. I get disconnected VERY often, less than a min sometimes. Why? My firewall is turned off.

#2: Whenever I"m connected to FlashFXP and try to transfer a file, it says " Can't open data connection."

I don't know why, beings that I'm connected to mIRC and I'm in my E/emulator folder on the Xbox.

Thanks for any help! I've learned so much since last night and this morning.. Lookin forward to rocking some old school stuff on my box soon!!


Oh, one more thing..... A buddy of mine DL'd and burnt a DVD that actually has all the emulators /.games on it, but he did it for his EvoX chipped xbox. I can't just stick that DVD in my box and copy the files from it, can I?
