Xbox Case Mod Questions For Magazine Article!
« on: June 29, 2006, 11:35:00 AM »

Hello All,

I recently saw Dano2k0's water cooled 360 mod and was inspired to write a feature on console mods and the community surrounding them for the next issue of PHUZE Magazine (www.phuze.com).

If any modders are reading this I am hoping that I may be able to get some of you to get in touch with me and let me know if you would be able to participate in a little Q&A regarding the scene and get some of your thoughts for the magazine. I'd also like to get some photos for the magazine of some of the more interesting mods out there.

Or at the very least I'm hoping someone could at least get me started in the right direction. websites to check out, people to talk to, etc.

I've been a gamer all my but have recently become really fascinated with what people are doing to their consoles and want to represent it as best as possible so if anyone can help me out I would certainly appreciate it!

Thanks!

the best case modder out there (without any doubt what so ever) is Birdtales. Sickdimension allso knows his stuff and can do everything like windows, paint jobs and led mods.

I haven't seen him around in a while, but you should get in touch with eminvil_12, he is the king of slimboxes. His creations are works of art and are definitely magazine worthy!  eminvil is your man!

Thanks for the help guys!

And I assure you, I am no agent of MS as crzyimage suggests. If I worked for them I'd hope I'd have a better gig than trolling mod boards! I used to work at a game company actually up until recently and have just returned to freelance writing which I was doing before I started at said company.

I've messaged the couple of you who said you would be willing to help and messaged all the other guys you suggested. Looking forward to talking more with some of you.

And of course if there is anyone else please let me know!

Thanks again.

No No! Checking message boards is fine by itself if you do it because you are interested in the subject you are checking out but doing it with the specific reason of looking for people who are doing/saying bad things against the company you work for seems kind of soul sucking. Not my kind of gig!
