"no Videos Scanned. Use File View Instead."
« on: March 27, 2005, 06:30:00 PM »

When I hit "My Videos" it tells me "No videos scanned. Use file view instead." Here is what I think is the relevant section from XboxMediaCenter.xml:

    <video>
        <default>F:\Media\videos\</default>
        <bookmark>
            <name>E Drive</name>
            <path>E:\</path>
        </bookmark>
        <bookmark>
            <name>F drive</name>
            <path>F:\</path>
        </bookmark>
        <bookmark>
            <name>G drive</name>
            <path>G:\</path>
        </bookmark>

My videos are in F:\Media\videos\. I've tried pointing the F drive bookmark straight there to no avail. In between every attempt I deleted the videosX.db file from XBMC's \album\ directory. Any idea what's going on?

Oh yeah: I'm using the CVS build from 2005-03-26. <

i was gonna say check ur xml, but i don't see anything wrong with it. try taking out the default path, just replace is with nothing, or a space or a dash but im pretty sure its nothing.

just a suggestion, good luck <

Yes. The rest of the xml file is unchanged from download. The above is only an excerpt. <
