Xbox Mod Chip Trouble
« on: July 01, 2004, 04:12:00 PM »

okay i have the xbox frag (flashing red and green) problem and i have taken some photos of varios connectionswhere it has been soldered, the chip has been working for about 1 year but one day while playing a game the system crashed  i restarted and i now get no monitir output and just teh frag lighs after 3 boot attmepts (teh 1st 2 light up green then turn tehreselves of).

the link to my photos is http://uk.geocities.com/jamie_pert1986/index.html

what i would liek to know is the type of chip i have got whether any connections look bad.

more photos can be uploaded upon request

if you would like to contact me email me on [email protected] (i also use msn messenger almost 24/7 online)

any responses will be great because then i can start modding my case  :D

what type of chip. btw most FRAG erros are from bad connection to teh d0 point.  if its a solder chip check the d0 trace and make sure its not damaged... the pictures dont work

Points look good. Alt d0 looks good.  Its a Cheap SST chip that you have installed.  I believe that your cheapmod just gaved up. Seem that you used it to much...
