Is this VGA output for HD, or for PC monitor?!?  huh.gif
I'd love to not have to buy an adapter for my PC monitor....

it's for both,... but you could buy the parts yourself for alot less than these people are going to sell them for.

It sucks to see so much of the 'modding' being done for money instead of community..... where's the tutorials people,... right here and it only costs $50, fuck that.

wow thats real neat... so it'l work bare mobo... verry interesting one is the memory unit... I defenetly see a 128MB upgrade comming from either a 3rd party source or from M$ since there are extra points (hoping the extra pad will accauly work.)

someone needs to buy 2 mem cards and solder the flash from one onto the blanks spot on the other.  i'm too much of a cheapass to do it since I already have a HDD, but it could benefit a few people.

IMHO what use is a memory card upgrade. I dont think anyone that would mod their system would get the core system.

Good to see some fun attempts at basic mods - it's a shame old tricks are not going to work this time around.

I have a premium i will keep unmodded and will purchase a core to tinker with.  a memory card upgrade would be interesting, if nothing else.  the jump from 64 to 128mb means that certain movies and demos could then be downloaded form xbl onto a memcard.  depending on the controller within the card, we could even see 1GB+ memcards.

Point made - I guess there is some use.

I must admit I am surprised that so many have enough spare cash to spend on two consoles. Maybe it's time for a tax/intrest rate rise.  laugh.gif

how about trying to connect the xbox360’s dvdrom drive to a pc and then see if the pc can read an xbox360 disc.

if the dvdrom drive is locked like the old xbox hdd then maybe while the dvdrom drive is in the 360 try to split the data cables using some sort of two-way split so that when you turn on the 360 the 360 unlocks the drive and the pc trys to read the disc.

i wish i could have a go but i have no 360 yet
