Thanks for the help   now I just have to find my Action Replay usb thing.  Just out of curiousity.  If I have a backup of a modded box  is there a way of restoring those files from a burned disk?

because in the files there is things like HD key and all that..

Yeah, well no thanks to tnhitokiri, creator of this installer, my xbox is fully modded now only because I had to bring it to someone who is an experienced modder. A little bit of support would have been appreciated u lamer... get bent.

I wonder who you contacted to get it on xbins als Iriez usually contacts devz3ro who never would have let such a thing on there. Sounds like the same case as that UFE part.

i tried it and it seems its set to autolaunch games..... making softmodding quite difficult tongue.gif
a fix would be to edit config.xml and set autolaunch to 'no"

so this is just what happend to me when i used this installer from xbins (still on there):

1. i had idots on there already softmodded

2. i backed up the hard drive deleted everything and put the stock xbox files back on

3. i copied the game save too the hard drive

4. i rebooted the orignal xbox dash loads like half way and then turns into an error 21?

5. i tried booting the 007 disc i got as far as it loading the save then i seen the uxe instllaer menu then it also went to an error 21

i read 2 people who have the same problem (i think) im just wondering if its the installer or my xbox messed up?

- Use xboxhdm fix the problem, or restore the HDD back to original. (assuming you did backup your Eeprom on the first attempt, as all tutorials tell you to do.)

- Don't forget to lock the disk.

- Put disk back into Xbox.

- Apply other mod

- All set.

And yes, one day you may be a 'Wise guy' yourself.

First, Krazyie is probably the most knowledgable guy in this area. I think if there already isn't one someone could go about starting a list similar to the bios chart.

except for softmod autoinstallers. I never use autoinstallers but a lot of people do and this would be a nice way to compare the options. This way they could see options such as virtual drives and then people could even look up options they never even knew existed and end up learning a bit and finally have a better mod in the end.

The autostart can be prevented by holding L+R keys during UnleashX start.
Thanx to incognegro for that info.
