I can't help but feel like a spammer, but here is a little peice of eye candy for us. Personally, these pics don't really hype me up for the system as they are from developing stages for a game which looks rather 'not my type'-ish.

In other words, I would rather see fuzzy bunnies display the next gen graphic capabilities than bloody visage-gone-wrong-creature-thing-a-ma-bobs, but enjoy.

It also displays and compares real-life photos and compares them to the "next-gen rendition".

on a footnote: These screens are obviously on a pc, I'm not saying some dude has a Xbox 2 or anything. This is a Game In Development for the Xbox2 and PS3
and also the pc and portrays what our next gen systems have to offer.

I personally don't think these screens are too different from the graphics in HL2 or Doom3, but its around 8 months from any possible release date (it's just a baby) and most likely wont be CLOSE to being a 'graphical wonder' on the next gen consoles (UT3 games will own this scary stuff no questions asked).

But BEWARE!! There is an annoying Nintendo DS ad that pops up and covers 1/2 of the screen. Other than that, enjoy the roughed-up development pics of what, i personally think, doesn't come close to truly showing us the beauty of what is Next Gen.

Yeah remember that xbox2 releases in 8 months and thats the 'earliest' time this game could be released for it. Also, I doubt this will be a graphical masterpeice compared to the other games which will be coming out.

But you need some glasses , PC games look better than that , the game looks like is made for XBox and not XBox 2 , plus that news site is not official , wheres the news from IGN , TeamXBox and Gamespot that says that those screens are for Xbox 2 and not XBox?

some pc games do, but not most. the unreal 3 engine screens for xbox 2 look great. and this will not even tap the full power of the new system. the xbox didnt get its full power unleashed until riddick and halo 2.

Those pictures have INCREADIBLE detail, they're not all basic gradients like the current Xbox games. People often have different opinions on what are good graphics and what are bad graphics.

The lighting on those games at the top is mind blowing, the problem is devs are trying to point out how theyr direct illunmination is nearly as impressive as global illumination while most people think theyr trying to show graphics prowess, only the Unreal 3 shots have tried to showcase graphics prowess from all the next-gen material released, keep that in mind. <
