Cant Get Bsx To Scan
« on: October 23, 2004, 09:32:00 AM »

I can't get my directories to scan and display.

For instance my apps are in E:\apps\

So for BSX it should read:
path=\\device\\harddisk0\\partition1\\Apps

And I have my xbox games in F:\hddloader and G:\hddloader

Will I have to list each separately or can I combine the list somehow when I figure this out.

It should just be:

Title=Applications
Path=apps

Title=Games
Path=hddloader (or path=games if they're just in F:\games or E:\games)

It works for me anyway. The guide says it scan all drives for stuff. Dunno about scanning G though, I just have 1 big F:

I can't get it to look in sub folders. I have my emulators in F:\apps\emulators but I cant figure out what to put on as the path to get it to scan them.

It doesnt do subfolders.

Move your emulators to a folder called emu or emulators instead then it will find em all and list them under emulators in dash.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. Works a treat now.

Know what's up with the actual BSX homepage? I want to reg but they must have turned registrations off or something?

Cheers dude ;)
