I noticed a few people wewre looking for a skining guide, so untill Kanaberra's guide is finished and posted i hope this will be of some help to some people.

Nice guide UGLYMONKEY. I still need more info about how to work with transparency. Alpha Channel, converting to DDS, DXT1, TGA, RGB modes etc. And it should be great if we could make the gamehilite & outline transparant to.

Skinning ain't easy....

Ok I'll try and go into more detail about the transparency if i get the time.

the only way that i know for sure to show transparency, is to make the image in .png format and than use the old bundler trick with the command window.
works everytime for me..
