This is definatly a step in the right direction.   We need less clutter, and more organization.  Lets take this time to propose ideas for new stickies, perhaps with limited access to post on them.
I also propose that people add tags to the title's of their posts, much like unforums do.  Is it a coincidence that YAY and argolonists are leading?   They are very organized and orderly in their discussions. <

Forums are able to be VERY organized.  If it weren't for all the 15 year olds posting 1 liner posts every 15 seconds, we would have alot more meat to read.   It is not the forum that causes unorganization, it is the non cooperation and disrespect that we give each other more common than not. <

everyone posting have you seen x y or x or heard about this or that when its like old news is doing my head in lol

tags are a good idea

like

[Challenge] The name of the challenge (date)

or

how about people start asking their questions like questions ending with a '?' and not as statements???   -crazy! <

I think the 2 biggest problems are the giant 200 page ourcolony thread (which I've stopped reading all together) and the fact that most new threads are labeled things like: "have you seen this?" or "a new discovery" that absolute WORST is when people title a topic "A NEW CHALLENGE" really? new as of WHEN?

...generic useless names that offer no help if you're looking for something.

Say I wanted to find something about the an older challenge... I wouldn't know to look in the "a new challange" thread because by now that's pretty fucking old news.... and well you get the point

Step1:  decide on a method of tagging topics, what tags should be an such
Step2:  Create a sticky explaining these posting rules
Step3:  Introduce moderators that will enforce said rules

is this what we want to do?  I personally am all for it.  Organization means productivity.  What is everyone else's view on it?  This should be a democratic decision <
