When I burn a X-box - iso with Nero on a cd_rewritable (4 speed) I can't read them with the cd-recorder or my DVD drive..
Is that normal ?.. it looks like there is no data on it ..

ok when i attempt to write an ISO into a DVD-R/DVD-RW with nero, when i click on WRITE i get an error message "Sorry your compilation cannot be written to this kind of medium.  Please insert the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make them compatible with the correct medium".  it seems as if NERO detects the ISO file as  a CD ISO and won't write to DVD.  anybody else run into this problem?  how do i fix it?

Yes, I tried to burn an ISO image w/ Nero and it gives me the same error message!   <_<   So, instead of fussing w/ the program and create a $2 coaster, I just went back to primo.   :P   I will test it on DJ later tomorrow.

Guys Guys,

you need the very latest version of NERO - 5.5.5.6 - I got mine bundled with my DVD writer.

It works perfectly - I just burned Gun Valkyrie and it works pefectly.

BUT - to be honest it seems that PrimoDVD is still better for Xbox stuff - ppl who have used that NEVEr have any probs with ther burned DVDCD.

Hope this helps.

Ive had nero for a long time and the last time I updated it was over a month ago and it was to version 5.5.7.2 so  you do not have the latest.

Last night I finally got my HomeBRew working.
I tested on a CDRW the video Select2  burned in Nero.
DIdnt Work... Thought I screwed something up.
But then I tried the program called FireBurner. (used for PS2 games)
Burned it as TrackAtOnce and bingo that worked.
Same CDRW as I burned in Nero. Hmmm
Maybe you all can try this if you have trouble.. worked for me!!

FireBurner Download
