Duox 2 White Probs W/ V1.6
« on: September 27, 2005, 11:11:00 PM »

So,

I recently put in the DuoX 2 white modchip into a xbox v1.6 and I thought I did a pretty good job installing and then I have jumped into problems now. I did a check with the LPC voltages and everything seems to be working. The LED indicator light flashes (presumably working?) and the Evox logo displays upon boot-up. My problem is it shows the logo when booting and then goes straight to the Xbox needs to be serviced screen. regardless if I hold the button down on eject or power or just tap. Boot discs won't work either, does this sound like a pin that's off? I installed verbatimly according to the duomodchip.com diagram.

Any ideas?

Thanks

OK,

So I found what it was... when I put the board back in the lower plastic box.. one of the wires pulled of from snagging on something. After I re-soldered it works fine now. Sorry for the troubles..

Hey at least I'm honest! ; )
