Hello,

I just format my whole hdd and installed UIX,
I copied the UDATA and TDATA from my xbox before formatting.
When I want to connect trough ftp (ftp://xbox:[email protected])
it give's an error

Details:
553 .requested.action.not.taken

What am I doing wrong?

I might not be right, but sounds like the settings in the dash itself aren't correct.  Double check! Basic networking Maaaan.

Use flashFXP or something like that.
Check the network settings in UIX to see if it's set to a static or dhcp and make sure the xbox is on your network.
There's no single right answer in networking because everyone's networks are set up a little different.

So I understand that internet explorer FTP doesn't work properly with UIX?

yeah I heard it's a little buggy along with cuteFtp.
Once you start using ftp and learning it's benifits you'll want a good program for it instead of IE. you should download a trial of FlashFXP and see if you like it or not.

flashFXP is the best answer... if u still have problems post its the most common client used...
