Changing Submenus In Uix
« on: April 10, 2005, 10:11:00 AM »

I seen a tutorial on how to add a 4th menu bar to the main orb navigation in the beginning, but I'm seeing all these sub menus of each of those (ex: an Apps link on the main page goes to another subpage with all the apps on it).

I'm new to all this, I was wondering if you have to set this up somewhere in the code to add apps to this?

Also, I don't really know how to actually use a new skin that is downloaded from the internet.  How do you get this on your xbox when you have UIX as your dash?

For the skin part, download the skin, put it in the /user.interface.x.dash/skins/ folder
But DONT rename the folder

You mean make a folder for the skin and then put the zip file in that folder?

Example: /user.interface.x.dash/skins/MySkin/Skin.zip

no, NO

TUTORIAL:

1. Download the skin
2. Extract The Skin To The Desktop [Should be a folder]
3. FTP The Skin's folder To \user.interface.x.dash\skins\
4. DONE

Example:
Red Caos Skin

Extracted from .zip / .rar

Extracted Folder Name= Red_Caos

SO:

the skin folder red_caos is put in \user.interface.x.dash\skins\

Easy

=P
