Ok heres the problem,

I have uix installed on the hard drive and an xecuter 2.6 ce with the evox m8 bios (the only one reported to work with this chip on a 1.6 machine)

I have used evtool to edit the bios to boot the uix.xbe on the c: partition first. However when i boot up the machine I get error 13.

I have reflashed the chip and reinstalled uix several times and I still get the same problems. I just can't see what I have done wrong.

any ideas?

UIX comes in two parts, the xbe then the audio and fonts, your post didnt say if you have both but you need them for it to run. Also make sure your using the "Replacement.UIX.XBE(MAKES.UIX.WORK.WITH.ALL.BIOSES.EVEN.1.6).rar"
