The only way around that is a 29Pin homebrew.... Simply connect it then remove the bios and flash the onboard TSOP.
If you need any help just drop me a PM i'll help you out the best I can.

you need a hard drive that you can boot with the original bios, so get an LPC modchip and you can boot any unlocked drive, then lock it and remove the LPC chip, then you can load up 007 or MA to flash teh TSOP

or alternatively, while the LPC chip is installed FTP a font exploit to the dashbaord to be able to flash without 007/MA

the 29-wire will work, but youll still need a hard drive, but it doesnt have to be lockable

That's right the drive doesn't even need anything on it. Cause you can use like Slayers disc
That what works. Flash the bios prep the new drive and install the dash of your choice and
then you'll be cooking with gas ! smile.gif Light it up !

Don' know why do you need a HD to flash the tsop. Doesn't it boot from the DVD rom if you have original 007 in? Also, you can pop any unlock HD from 8 to 120g with MS dash will work..

not true.

1. you have to load a save game on the hdd be4 you can tsop.

2. you cant boot any hdd on a non-modded xbox. the stock drive is locked with the mobo, so no other hdd's will read.

u can boot the xbox without a hdd if u use a hacked bios

install a homebrew mod.. 29 wires... with latest x2 bios

boot evox or raincoat off a cdrw or whatever in ur dvdrom

flash the chip

pop in a new hdd... boot slayers from the dvdrom and setup the new drive

with a hacked bios u can boot without a hdd unlike the retail bios

you need A hard drive boot, not necessarily the original, if you put a modchip in, lock the drive, you can then remove the modchip and flash the TSOP

You can use the tsop_d6.bin bios to flash the tsop from an lpc modchip (not 29 wires).

I did two 1.0 boxes this week that I did not have the hd for.

The evox team claims it will work on 1.0 to 1.3 boxes (so no lframe required).  i don't think it will work on anything with a focus chip.

Follow the instructions on pinned topic: Flash Tsop With X2 (and Others), ignore the code bullshit.

You may need to hook just some unlocked hd up.  Be careful, if you let that retail bios boot on accident it will lock your drive.
