Nice setup, what's your projector? I'm running my xbox through an Optoma H31 via Xbox vga connection, with Onkyo amp and Bose speakers.

Hello,

its a LCD Projektor Sharp XV-Z10E.

I`m running my BOX through a XBOX component cable on my TV and projector. Resolutions from 420p to 1080i. Depends on the material that i watch. Speakers are from CANTON and the whole rest is from Sony. I`ve changed the TV to a 40" Sony LCD screen. Better clearity and lower energy consumption. Sorry for my poor english.

Amazing how much in common you can find with complete strangers from across the world. Not sure the Sharp XV-Z10E is available in the US. I would have loved the manual keystone... (your English was fine by the way, I've seen much worse from some who speak it natively

)

Anyhow, looks like there's a couple of us ready to test and I know I can help with rearranging/fixing code for widescreen support, something tells me mad2030 would have no problem lending a hand too, but I won't speak for him. So guys, let me (us?) at it! I should be able to get back to you by Saturday night as long as I get Friday and Saturday to work on it.

98% is a good number.
If you folks (xTV team) were alright letting a few people do some testing, I'd check through everything and take some screenies for debugging.
I have my xbox running widescreen on a VGA CRT monitor. I could test all resolutions if you would like me to. I'm not so sure about PAL though.
Send me a PM and I'll give you an email or AIM address.

I assume, CHI3f, you have gotten familiar with XBMC SVN/compiling?

The beta should be out by then. We only have a few things to work out in 16x9 now I am pretty sure. Even if everything isn't covered you guys will have your hands on the xml's anyway, then you can change anything you want and if it is a bug fix then post it or send any one of us a pm about it.

Ummm just use xbmc_pc and put it into 720p mode I do it all the time to take screenshots and test HDTV stuff

XBMC PC seems to render some things differently than the actual Xbox does, for some reason.
