Hallo, me have some probs with crosscompile

I installed crosstool-0.43 with demo-powerpc-970.sh on my x86 pc and all looks ok but when i compile and file it  didnt run under gentoo livecd beta2.
I also did "powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu-objcopy -O elf32-powerpc <filename>".
Gcc switches like -m32 to create 32bit appz dindnt work for me.

So pls someone can tell me how to setup crosstool to create 32 and 64 bit powerpc code or past me his working settings for crosstool ?
