Hi i have an avolutionx mod chip for x box and i want to install a movie on xbox hdd
i burned an AVi file to cd-r using toast and want to be able to play it on my x box anyone know how?
i want to play on xbox and recored of x box to VHS somone help :popcorn:

Same as you would with 2 VHS.  

VIDEO OUT to VHS's VIDEO IN and press record on VHS. PUSH PLAY ON XBOX.

and you will need XBMC

it wont play how do i get it to start playing to recored i need the movie to start playing on the x box first  how do i play it?

well, do it this way then.

1. xbox IN to tv IN.
   this will be video1
2. tv OUT to vhs IN
   this will be video2

then push record on the vhs, go to the xbox (video1) and push play.

the disc in the xbox DOSENT play i dont know how to start it on xbox befor recording i know how to recored of the disk on to VHS i just need to get the disk to play on the xbox

What program do you use?
Are you using Xbox Media Center or Xbox Media Player.

The Xbox DVD-player that comes with the Xbox can't read CD-R. However, it can read CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R and DVD-RW.
