Xna Xdk Console - Add Hdd Content
« on: April 11, 2010, 03:58:00 PM »

Hi, i have aqquired an XDK XBOX 360 (sidecar hdd works but dvd emu board is sizzled!) it turns on and reads the hdd in the sidecar, says there's 96gb free.
One question, how do i get some homebrew running on this machine? it searches for 'XEX' on the hdd but will not read anything from usb drives, do i needd to remove the drive and connect it via a usb caddy to my pc and use x360 commander or something?

Any help will be appreciated!!

Only way really is through Xbox Neighborhood in the SDK.  Create a new folder in the "DEVKIT" partition, and place the files within that folder for whatever it is you are wanting to run.  Apart from Neighborhood, if you don't want to install the SDK, I believe Xenon 7's application Alteration (http://xenon7.com/fi...ration_0052.rar) has the ability to transfer files just like Neighborhood does.

The dev launcher does not detect USB drives though, sorry.
