If it has a donor KV then use that or find a 16mb jasper nand with a KV. Then just sell your real kv as there is no real use for it.

Surely you need to manually remap the bad blocks with the original NAND , then freeBOOT toolbox will work for you?

if you have a valid xbr nand, which is true? then it is 100% possible to upgrade to freeboot .32 and keep your kv. i dont understand what all this trouble is about...and id recommend using ibuild instead of a toolbox
