its not freeboot or XBR related. There currently is no rom auditing done to tell you that you have a bad set. It will just freeze up. its on my todo list for the next version

You will need to find updated sets to use with this emulator

hope any coder add snes support when fbanext turns open source.
(Snes360 0.21 is unplayable beacause the button lag , the emu is great, but if nobody fix the buttons...)

Well.

I tested some rooms.

CPs1 runs great

CPS2 - 50/50% worked from me. ( Street Alpha2,3 , Samurai , Marvel vs Capcom etc no one loads )

No One Neo Geo rom worked for me. The Game loads but graphics all messed up.

Some other Arcade Roms worked fine

I'm using "Coin Ops Roms from my xbox1"




Finally there's a 7.8gb pack of Roms on bt.XS Filter - Do not link to Torrents Sites on xs. **.cc .

My old NeoGeo roms didnt work for me too!
Get the pack ;-) Now I can play Viewpoint in 1080p

If you are having problems with Neogeo roms and they are all the newest romset check your neogeo.zip bios. The old one I had was 265kb and I had the problem of roms graphics messed up. I downloaded a mew neogeo.zip bios that was 865kb and that fixed the glitching roms. I had to get new sf3 roms that were labeled NOCD. And had to get new sfa roms and they booted as well.

Thanks to all that contributed tho this emulator I like how you can play Street Fighter 1 and Martial Masters on this everythibng looks good and very well done. Since this can play my Konami roms I amn hardly going to be using mame.

Do the roms have to be in .zip format? I have the genesis full romset but they are in .bin format and they are not detected by fbanext.

At work right now so can't test yet but the roms in the megapack on logic-sunrise seems to work fine.
