Hey

Having problems getting my xplorer360 to work on new laptop. its windows 8.
I tried to run as admin but still same problem. Can anybody help me out?

I am trying to get my Xbox360 Profile onto my laptop using Xplorer360 and a memory card. When I go to open the memory card through Drive < Open <Memory card a get the error "could not find a FATX drive to open" error.

At the moment I am using Windows 8. Do u need to install a driver to fix this problem.
If you require more info please let me know. thanks

If you're using a USB stick (which I assume you are), use a more recent program. FATX USB  Explorer or Party Buffalo work very well.

I am using a Xplorer data transfer cable with standard memory card not USB flash drive. U any tips on that?

I could try buy a suitable USB flash drive i guess and try your previous method.

Xport360 works best for me with a M$ memory card on a W7 64bit pc.  Worth a try for W8 if you can get a copy of it.

If not, maybe use compatibility mode and switch off UAC if that's still relevant for W8,  I know unless I switch off UAC for my W7 laptop, then I cant drag and drop any files even though I have no issues the mem card getting recognised.  

BTW neither Xporer360 or party Bufflao recognised my mem card either.  Seem to be HDD readers only?
