AVG Antivirus is flagging xextool.exe as containing "Trojan Horse Generic 16.AWWL"

I'm not sure if that threat detection is what is causing the unhandled exception error "Access is denied" that follows the virus warning as it starts trying to extract the Title Details.

Note, I'm on XP.  Going to try on a Win7 box and see what happens.

Seems probable to me that the virus scanner would be causing it.

When I tried xextool directly from xbins, it gave me 11/39 reports as a virus at VirusTotal.com, so I'd bet it's safe.

just tried it, i get the same error on a few ISOs, No antivirus at all here. So, its gotta be some weird bug and not some antivirus software.   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) sucks i was sooo waiting for this. Im sure it'll work on most of my ISOs, and Ill just do the remaining manually.

But yeah... has to be a bug for 1.1.1

btw: my own rips of Army of 2: 40th Dat and Assassin's Creed 2. Not sure what else yet.

I'm having success on a Windows7 box (no AV scanner) - so far two successful converts...

Tried it with BioShock... when I used the previous version, console would hang on launch.

v1.1 fixed the problem - I am able to load the GOD with no problem.  Thanks!

of the 3games ive done so far ... 2came out much larger than the original ISO. each iso is 7.3gb clearly...but one GOD came out at 12GB, another came out at 18.4GB

not sure which game is which but the IDs are
454108C5 is the 18.5GB one
54540861 is the 12GB one
the 3rd came out to just about 6.1GB

somethings not right...

editg: i was doing Full Rebuild and had about 6 in queue. It got thru 3, then during the 4th i saw these problems. it seems to me that maybe it did the first one right, the second one in merged the first and 2nd. the 3rd one merged the 3rd, 2nd and 1st one. And as it seemed the 4th was going to be about 25GB (the .rebuilt.iso, i stopped it there). So I could assume the 4th included the 4th 3rd 2nd and 1st data.

I've had similar issues with it increasing the sizes of games.

did it again... yup back to the drawing board as far as full rebuild goes. guess ill try the other option see if that does the same thing.

just did 2 isos with the other rebuild option and it seems to have worked fine. both games came out to around 6GB.
I guess somethings broken in the Full Rebuild option with a queue of more than 1 ISO.

I'm having issues putting converting Bioshock 2. It eventually tells me there is an unhandled exception and that a process is already using a file. Then it goes to Calculating Master Hash Table Chain and never finishes. Anyone know what's up with that?

i'm really glad to see further development on this, when it is complete this tool will be awesome!

it's too bad we aren't seeing the greatest results but i'm sure it will only get better smile.gif  thanks for the effort.
