Xbox Backup Creator Burning At 0.3x!

Hi,

I used to be running windows XP with xbox creator 2.3, and everything burns fine at a good speed.

Now I run Windows 7 and xbc 2.9, and each time the backup burns at insanely slow (0.3x)!

I use the xbc engine but also for imgburn installed.

Does anyone know the cause and how I can fix this?

I have to wait 4.5 hours for a backup!

I'm having the same problem - mine takes 12 hours to burn a backup.
using ImgBurn as the burn engine makes it normal - burn at 2.4x, it shows it completed with no errors but the backup will not play when using ImgBurn.
