Abgx Pathces My Original Backups?
« on: November 24, 2008, 11:39:00 PM »

Hi all,
I have a samsung SH-162 pc drive, flashed with kreon etc.
i use it to backup games i genuinly own with xbox backup creator (all australia copies)

i decided to run the backed up images through Abgxgui expecting it to verify perfectly knowing it's from an original disk and backed up properly.
Abgx replaces the ss dmi etc from its database saying it was incorrect, my question is why?

Is it just the ss/dmi in the database is from a different press of the game?
Is the games ID(or whatever it may be called) the same across different presses of the game and have different ss/dmi info?
And is the game data on the disk the same, so essentially when it patches the games is it just changing the stealth info to another press of the game?

Any advice would brilliant, i know my games are backed up properly as i've not been banned, but i just can't figure out why abgx changes the info and is it actually making it a bad stealth?

Thanks

Abgx Pathces My Original Backups?
« Reply #1 on: December 03, 2008, 05:15:00 AM »

Please anyone, in general my Q is,
i know my games are backed up properly as i've not been banned, but i just can't figure out why abgx changes the info and my concern is is it actually making it a bad stealth even though my original rip is good?
