"drive Not Ready" Windows Error In Xbm

When clicking "Prepare Drive" I get a "drive not ready" (using a generic usb stick) error after a few seconds.
Whatever I click after that, the process will continue and place the files on the drive (it's even renamed to XTREME i.e EXTREME (G:)).

Anybody know what the problem might be, is it serious?

It's an annoying error but i found out it isn't harmful.
anybody know why it appeared?
