Burn Failure With All Software To 3500ag

Have you tired burning another image, just to check its not the image and try another disc.
I use the NEC3500ag, flashed with another firmware ( can't remember which but its from here ) and verbatum discs without a single coaster. I also set the book type from within imageburn, I haven't used clonecd.

I bet your burner is crap. I know others have posted it working but I had a similar problem with my HP burner.  others said it worked and mine gave the same error as yours.  seriously get a pioneer 111D  they are like $30-$35 from newegg.  you wont be disapointed.  works everytime!

Well if it is any use to any one, I upgraded the 3500AG to the latest firmware 2.1b from 2.16 & used a verbatim DL+ & clone CD wrote to it first time.

Haven't tried the Titanium blanks yet, hopefully the firmware will of fixed them or maybe it's just using the Verbatim blanks that solved the problem. Will try one later
