A Couple Of Wmce Questions.
« on: March 22, 2006, 04:26:00 PM »

Hey guys.

Heres the setup:

I have 2x 120GB Hard Drives running in my computer.  The partitions are as follows:

1st Hard Drive:
120GB NTFS dedicated to Windows XP Home SP2.  This is my primary operating system and boots by default from my bootloader.

2nd Hard Drive:
60GB NTFS used for backup storage and transfer of large files between computers on my home network.  This partition appears as a second drive in My Computer and is easily accessible in Windows XP Home SP2.

60GB dedicated to Linux and currently don't have time to mess around with it.  I would like like to install Windows Media Center on this partition.

A couple of questions:

1:  I've never used or followed Windows Media Center at all.  Does it use the same NTFS filesystem as Windows XP?

2:  And if it does use the NTFS filesystem, if I was to boot WMCE up on my second hard drive, would I be able to access my video and audio files from the primary hard drive?

Thanks.
