Stfs And Svod Information?

I'm trying to learn about the STFS and SVOD file structures. Currently, I only have the x360 source and free60.net at my disposal.

Where did they get the information?

I believe you mean free60.org. I would wager that the vast majority of the data in the wiki is based on original research.

Research of what though? That's what I'm missing, what to study.

Original research. The people who put that site together are experienced coders and hackers. They looked at the data and materials and figured it out.
