Hi, thanks for looking hopefully someone out there can help me!!

We purchased a new xbox when they came out this year, and in an attempt to keep all his saved games my hubby bought a transfer cable, disconnected the old xbox's 20GD HDD and tried to transfer its contents. Only he couldnt work it out, and managed to format the 20GB HDD as a storage device.

Now when I put the HDD back ionto the xbox 360, it doesnt recongnise it when you sign in you get - to create a profile on this console connect a memory unit or usb storage device", but if i attach it via the usb transfer cable it does work for 360 games.So this works fine we can play games, sign in, go on live, until we try to play an xbox original game were it says - "an xbox 360 HDD must be attatched to play original xbox games"

I really have no need for the HDD to soft modded or changed in any way, i was hoping that someone would know how to get it back to how it should be, so i dont have to buy a new HDD.

Any help or  a link to help    would be greatly appreciated
