Im helping a friend now - open it up and his is a Toshiba  (TS-H943) .   I'm assuming everything is the same --- download new firmware - flash it with jungleflasher - softmod part is done (I can teach him about stealth modding his backups on my own) correct?

Just been a little time since I did the last one - wanted to make sure there was nothing special I was forgetting or anything specific to this drive.

All that sounds good except for the fact that patching to stealth really has become useless since MS can detect the firmware now.

Your best bet is to teach him to know how to play offline and not go online.
