Xplorer360 + Files
« on: February 12, 2007, 02:44:00 AM »

Hey guys,

Im new to these parts so excuse me if this has been answered. Ive had a search but i cant filter through the Xbox & Xbox 360 posts.

Basically ive got my computer to see my Xbox 360 Hard drive through Xplorer360 Beta 5 but no where can i find tutorials on howto transfer video, music and photo's to the drive. Im not sure which partition and which folder to place them in and what they should be named.

At a guess i figure its not possible but other than Game Saves why would you use Xplorer360 if thats so?

Thanks for any replies  biggrin.gif

You cannot transfer music/pictures/video to the HDD for playback.  Music has to be ripped from CDs or streamed, and pictures/video are streamed (USB or LAN).

What exactly is Xplorer360 worth using for then? JUST save games?

That's the original intention.  But it can be used to re-build original Xbox HDDs, transfer to memory cards, and hopefully in the future, transfer more useful media.
