the poll question on DIVX.com is

Are you going to buy (or have you already bought) an Xbox 360?

maybe they are planing to release legit divx drivers for the 360

Umm no. Not unless you want to buy 20foot long component cables.

With X360 you can run a network cable, stream it digitally, then output over component cables. No need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on extremely long component cables, and much better image quality than composite.

now that is interestign news indeed. it is not much to go on, but we can hope.

it would be good if they could strike a deal with m$ so that we can watch divx movies on the 360...

This is nothing special, you might aswell run those apps on your PC, otherwise your just wasting power.
