Did you think you could run an Xbox 360 updater from a single file burned by using a regular old Data disc CD-R?  We won't know until someone tries.

Does anyone know where to get the update besides xbox.com? I've been trying to get it from there for the past 2 days and their site is down. Thanks.

This is incorrect.  Firefox does work.

it doesn't matter where you installed the update from, if the emu doesn't run a game well it always will have that issue.

I'm having the same issue with SSX 3.  I went and bought a copy yesterday for about $12, only to find that its  unplayable on the Xbox 360 due to random pauses every 30 seconds or so.  Saving is also impossible...when it tries to save, I get a message saying that it can't save to the hard disk.  blink.gif   I thought maybe it was the disk, but when i tried it on my old xbox, it worked flawlessly.

I'm pretty sure I'm running the latest emu update.  I downloaded something when I tried Halo 2 out for the first time.

Anyone else have this problem?

.CLw?

You have noticed a reference in the file '.CLw' this is most likly to be the compiler used to create the file in example m$ Xbox dev kit used 'CL.exe' which is described as a 'C/C++ Compiler Driver'

So quite possibly it is not .CLw but CL .

I may be wrong but thats just my perception of that reference.

have MS given a timeline on the next patch?, because quite frankly the Performance of many of the BC titles is worse than that of the First xbox which is unacceptable imo smile.gif
