There's absolutely no way to get those working on the post-Kinect dashboards.

The reason is something to do with avatars being completely re-written for Kinect or something.

Anyway, I can tell you there are websites (including one very big one) that are actively posting avatar clothes and props for the post-Kinect dashboards.

So in short: there's no way to get those '!' props working unless you download the post-kinect version of them from somewhere.
