TBH, I don't see FSD2's ftp improving much, if at all...Unless there is a legitimate problem.  I'd be happy to work on it if there was a specific bug report.  So far, everything has been somewhat nebulous.

As far as I can tell it's the fastest ftp implementation on the 360 yet.  Granted, I don't test to USB devices...but USB shouldn't be the bottleneck...the 360's ethernet port is only 100mbit.  If your USB drive can't keep up with that, it may belong in the garbage.

my content copys over 5x faster through usb then ftp
i didnt say that 1.2 was any faster ive just had less failed transfers with it.

my speed start at like 6-7 mb/s
but with large files and alot qued it slows after not to long to like 200-600 kb/s
both 1.2 and 2.0 ftp

all games ive played so far have been fine on my mybook faster than disc,  all tho i do no a sata interface would be a bit fater im waiting on funds for a 500 2.5, the mybook was on sale at the time and big.
