yah I just got banned playing Halo 3 beta... and I am using the Hitachi 47d

ya i caught a fat ban today too....called them up right away to cancel my live account so those jerks wouldnt' charge me anymore. it was quite an awkward conversation...he asked me why i wanted to cancel, and i just told him i was moving so i didn't want it anymore. guess it's a good thing there's no games i want to play online this summer anyways. i had a hitachi drive with the newest flash on it and NO i didn't download the halo3 beta or anything and play it on a backup. guess i'll ebay a used xbox when the real halo 3 comes out.

yup same thing for me but with toshiba-samsung drive on 5.2d was playing the halo 3 beta and right before the match started it froozed up on me and now i can to get online, guess im banned as well anyone reflash their drive yet and tried to get online?

i cant see this working , someone has already transferred his hard drive to an unmodded xbox , and he can get online fine , so it aint the live account thats banned , if the orig xbox is anything to go by it will be the machines unique serial number that is blacklisted(new eprom anyone lol)
