I dont even play on Live much, I like it just for the updates for games and content download such as maps and shit I can use for single player and Lan parties, and the price is still very worth it in my opinion.

game price hikes dont help MS much unless its in-house developed, or am I mistaken.

a lot of things we have, could or should be free.

internet connection, utilities, toilet paper, water, and most importantly,

but if it needs maintaining of some sort, there will be a price, or usually is.

would I like it to be Free? Sure

Do I think it should be? Nah

Why not? Customer service and features would decline. They'd say.."what do you expect for free?!"

would I pay double what I pay now? Sure
