I'm pretty sure you will on bc games like halo2. The 360 would just have better rendering (no popping up textures) and a sharper picture (because of HD and more antialiasing). You won't have any advantage, unless you call being able to change your granade types etc on halo2 with the shoulder buttons instead of the misplaced black and white buttons. Also, because of the better wuality picture (sharper and more detailed) when using an hd tv, your opponents will look clearer from a distance, but that doesn't mean you will be able to look past the fog of war (renderline) or whatever you wanna call it.

On their retail training site, ms has firmly said that the 360 will be able to play with xbox online, with a bc game.

Hopefully PC Vs xbox would happen but what if sony did the same ps3 vs pc, in the end you'd have ps3 vs pc vs xbox. The pc would be the bridge for the two others to fight each other, for this reason I don't see it happening anytime soon.

 I hope halo (1 and or 2)  sees a special re-rendered halo 2.5 at launch, hopefully with a ton of new maps and a vehicle or two.  They could even throw on a halo 3 teaser.
