whats gonna happen to XBMC!!!!

XBMC IMO will still be better than the xbox 360 media player, because firstly XBMC supports xvid, divx, ac3 and all the rest, whereas I have a feeling xbox 360 won't... like with windows media player you gotta install 3rd party packages to enable usage of those codecs.

damn proprietary drm rubbish.

Any news so far about modchips from either side?  Μicrosoft or the modchip companies?  I have faith in Xecuter, I hope they can pull this one off sometime either before or very soon after Xbox 360 is released.

Do you guys think the modding scene will go down once the 360 is released considering that you can already network the machine to a pc and transfer files to the hdd.  There will probably be little tricks on transfering games and booting them as well without a chip installed.
Maybe im just paranoid, what's everyone opinions on the modding scene for the new 360's?
