I just got finished modding another xbox and I've run into a rather odd problem. The first day it was completed everything worked fine, but the next day whenever we open XBMC and click 'My Music' the system freezes forever. We are not presented with the list of drives or (samba) choices at all. The 'My Files', 'My Pictures', and 'My Videos', all work fine.
I've re-installed XBMC, verified all the settings in Xbox Media Center.xml and they're identical to my other xbox which works flawlessly.
This XBOX is a v1.1 with Xecutor 2.3b Pro (4983 Flash) and the EvoX 3931 Dash.
I'm not sure which XBMC build I'm using so I'm assuming it's 1.0 since thats what the folder says.

Any suggestions? The XBMC, in my opinion is the reason to mod an xbox to begin with.

Yes, change to Songs View.  You may be on albums view or artist view but have not yet Scanned to place your songs in the database.

Thanks for the response but the XBMC never gets to that screen. On the main (home screen) where you see :

My Programs
My Files
My Pictures
My Music
My Videos
Weather
Settings

All these run without a hitch except when we choose 'My Music', XBMC
hard locks and nothing happens. The rest of the options presents us
with a list of disk drives and the smb (samba) options.   <
