Iprep Does Not Recognize Any "destination Drives" Anymore
« on: February 03, 2020, 07:33:00 PM »

Hi all,

I've got a MS25 Toshiba-Samsung drive, I bought a SATA PCI card with the VIA chipset supported

I installed the drivers for the pci card, and iPrep recognizes the SATA PCI (RAID) and says it IS compatible.

First time I ran iPrep, the destination drives showed up.

First, I chose my E:\ drive (second hard drive partition), but didn't check the box that said "Format/Prepare" so it ran into errors. So, from the dropdown box I chose my USB flashdrive F:\ and that ran into errors too.

Now every time I load iPrep, any version, it comes up with a .NET error and then the dropdown box for destination drives appears empty.

CODE
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** Exception Text **************
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {4590F811-1D3A-11D0-891F-00AA004B2E24} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I already re-installed .net framework, reinstalled the software, and connected a different hard drive to my pc to try it off of.

Any help is appreciated,
