HI

FLASHED MY TS-H943A MS28 USING IPREP AND FW XTREME 1.2 FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FROM TEXTBOOK, ALL WAS FINE BUT NOW WONT PLAY ANY OF MY ORIGINAL GAMES BUT WILL PLAY DVDS

CAN ANYONE HELP?

No its was second hand and already been flashed but don't know with what, it used to play originals but i was just wanting to back up games now it will only play dvds.

Does it say "to play this disc put it in a 360 console"? If you flashed the ixtreme fw without dumping your current fw you will be missing the drive key. Since it was flashed previously I'm sure an orig.bin exists somewhere with your key. You can check the hacked.bin's (the fw thats on the drive now) key in fw toolbox and make sure it's not all FF's.

PS I have also heard of mislabeled drives but never seen one myself.

try restoring the backup of your firmware to the drive. the problem is the dvd key.

Did that and it is doing the same thing is there a way to get the dvd key and add it to the firmware?

you need to get it from your orig.bin file. if restoring to that doesn't fix your problem (since it is a backup of your original firmware, and hence has the key), then you might be out of luck.

Used kdx on my supposed original.bin but no drive key, looks like am buggered is there anyway to fix this 360? Can I put new drive in or is it a brick for good?

Serves me right thought i was getting a bargain, the guy no answering his phone - surprise surprise..
