2 hard drives

Hey guys ssup...got a kuestion (as a noob should..). Is the firmwire hack done in the drive by itslf or is done on Hard Drive of the xbox 360???? My idea is...imagine I have 2 hard drives for xbox 360...one would be the original games  hard drive and the other would be the backup copies hard drive. Whenever I went Live I would use the original games hard drive so anything would be detected,right? Becaus the only hard drive I hacked was the other one...or that's just a really bad and ineffective idea??
I mention this because I was thinking of gettin the blaster 360.
Would really apreciate someone to give me a tip about that...

flash is in the dvd-drive not the HD.
so you would need two dvd drive one hack and on original firmware (both with the same key).
extend the cable for power and sata from the MB to the back of the x360, from there connect the dvd drive you  want.
